Tour Over view
This two-day Mikumi National Park safari, which departs from Daressalaam or Zanzibar, is a brief but enjoyable excursion. It is appropriate for those who want to encounter animals in a short length of time. The safari begins in Dar Es Salaam or Zanzibar, beginning early in the morning and takes 5-6 hours by car to reach the park. Among the activities will be a game drive in the park to witness the animals.

Itinerary
Trip Schedule
Early morning picked from the hotel and drive to the ferry point towards Dar es salaam, after arrive meet with driver guide for short briefing then start the drive towards Mikumi National Park.
You will have lunch en-route. On arrival in the park, you will embark on a game drive to explore the rich diversity of wildlife here. Because Mikumi together with neighboring Selous game reserve form a large Selous Eco-system, you will certainly be amazed by the numerous wild animals and birds you will see; among which are: elephants, hartebeests, buffalos, kudus, zebras, elands, wildebeests and impalas. Hyenas, baboons, lions, wild dogs, giraffes, warthogs and hippos.
Later in the evening, you will drive to your overnight accommodation where you will check-in, freshen-up and have your dinner and overnight.
Early morning safari, breakfast, then carry on with short safari according to the flight back time from Dar es salaam where you will catch up the plane back to Zanzibar
