Itinerary
Trip Schedule
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam by your driver guide and start drive to Selous game reserve which is almost (218.6 km) approximates 6 hours driving, arrive at Hippo camp in time for lunch. Enjoy evening boat safari and overnight at Hippo camp.
After breakfast in the morning with your lunch boxes enjoy full day game inside the game reserve, great animal sightings including all the great favorites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species like hunting dogs and birds in the afternoon after lunch then proceed with the game drive until evening and overnight at the Hippo tented camp.
You will spend the last full day on a game drive within Selous Game Reserve, so named after the explorer Frederick Selous. Selous is the largest protected wildlife reserve and a UN World Heritage site. After breakfast enjoy your game drive with your lunch boxes and overnight stay at Hippo tented camp
After breakfast with your lunch boxes drive to Mikumi National Park 5 hours driving, arrive late afternoon enjoy game drive inside Mikumi park where you will be able to see wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants.
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Mikumi National Park. You will eat a picnic site at midday and get the chance to see some of what you missed on the first day in the park. Your dinner and overnights stay will be at Lodge.
After breakfast from lodge enjoy a full day game drive with packed lunch provided, nice view of Ruaha river valley, great animals sightings like Kudu, wildebeests, elephants, zebra, lions, hippos, hartebeest, impala, antelope, giraffe, buffalo and many of them overnight at Hilltop lodge.
Another full day game drives with packed lunch boxes. Enjoy half day game drive until later afternoon followed by walking safari and overnight at the same as above lodge.
Another full day game drive with packed lunch boxes you will spend the last day to discover and exploring Ruaha National Park and overnight at the lodge as above.
After breakfast with your lunch boxes drive back to Dar es Salaam, 8 hours driving arrive in later evening to your hotel.
